You don’t have to wait until St. Paddy’s Day to start wearing your green! Then again, you may be one of those that isn’t particularly fond of wearing green. When my daughter was just a sweet little 3 year old (she’s now a fabulous 26 year old mom of my 2 sweet grandboys), she was pretty upset when she found out her pre-school teacher wanted everyone to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. She informed me that she didn’t have anything green and didn’t look good in green…bottom line, she wasn’t going wearing green to pre-school even if she would get pinched!

Well if you’re one of those girls who doesn’t think she can wear green, think again. We have the perfect peridot earrings that will look fabulous on everyone. How are you going to wear your green?

New Year…New Blog Site

Welcome to our new website! We are pretty excited about updating DaffoLilly Designs to be more of a “blog site.” We decided it would be a lot easier to keep you up to date with new designs, jewelry parties and shows and new trends, as well as boutiques and shops where our designs can be purchased.

If you have a question or want to make a purchase, you can do that through our blog site. We have some new and personalized options for some spring designs. We’ll keep you posted!

The Snow is Wonderful but…

The snow is wonderful, but if you’re like us you can’t wait for the spring colors to start showing. On trend colors for spring? Think pink! But not just any pink. Honeysuckle pink was voted color of the year by Pantone. And we think orange is our new favorite! Lori just bought a beautiful, bright, sunset orange, micro jersey cotton scarf trimmed in frayed satin at Banana Republic…39.50 if you must know. Here is the link to check it out for yourself. view

We just happen to have some juicy carnelian and ruby gemstone hoops to accessorize our accessory!

We also have new silver designs coming. Many of the products can be personalized. These will make our designs more uniquely yours. What a great way to help you and your friends remember special days and milestones in each other’s lives…maybe create a custom charm with your wedding date for your bridesmaids, or a dated charm for your friend that just had a baby. The possibilities are endless.

More Color Trends for Spring 2011

If pink isn’t your thing, don’t be blue. Everyone looks good in blue! Think vibrant aqua, sky blue and rich navy. We’ve seen it paired with bright oranges and rusts and chocolate browns…beautiful and not too over the top. We think we have some sapphires and aquamarines to go with that!

In addition to pink, orange and blue, rounding out the top color trends for spring are yellow, earth tones and white. Of course, I’m always partial to nearly any shade of purple and love a good jade green as well. Which ever hue is your favorite, we’re sure to have a piece of jewelry to compliment it.
